The pages within this "FAQ" section contain detailed information on all aspects of the project. You do not need to know all of this information before you register, but we hope that you will find an answer to any questions that you have here.

On this page, we answer questions on some practical issues about registering and taking part.

How do you ask the questions?

You will read them on a computer/tablet/smartphone screen, and answer using the computer mouse, finger or keyboard. This allows you to answer all the questions privately.

I have to stop in the middle of a questionnaire and return later. What do I do?

Your answers will be recorded for each questionnaire you finish, so if you don't finish a questionnaire before logging out you will have to start it again later from the beginning.

Can I change my previous answers?

You can't change the answers of questionnaires you have already completed.

What sort of computer do I need?

Any computer, tablet or smartphone connected to the internet and with an internet browser will work.

What should I do if I forget my username or password?

Your username will be your email address. Please choose one that you use often.

If you decide to change your email or if you forget which one you gave us, you can call us on 0800 9 172 172 (free from most landlines) or 02920 768 090. Our office hours are 8.00 am to 7.00 pm Monday to Friday.

If you've forgotten your password, there will be a button that will automatically generate an email giving you a link to a page where you can choose a new password.
