Thank you for taking the time to consider registering with HealthWise Wales.
The pages within this "FAQ" section contain detailed information on all aspects of the project. You do not need to know all of this information before you register, but we hope that you will find an answer to any questions that you have here.
On this page, we answer some more detailed questions about how you can register.

How do I join?
Click here or on the 'Register' tab in the main menu.
You will have to read some information about what you are agreeing to. Please read these pages carefully so that you fully understand what is involved before consenting to take part. If you are happy to take part, you will be asked to give us your email address and click on the 'I Agree' button. You will also have to select a password so that you can login to the study pages at any time. Your password should be 8 or more digits in length, and include at least one capital letter and one number.
Members of our team can also help you to register and complete the questionnaires over the phone.

How long does it take to join?
Once you have read these pages and decided you want to take part, joining will take about 5 minutes.
Do I need to be unwell or have an existing health condition to sign up?
No. We would like you to take part whether you are in good health or have health problems.
Do I have to answer all the questions I'm asked?
No, it's entirely up to you.
What happens after I join?
You can choose to answer questions on the website immediately or you can come back and answer them later.
Every time you visit the secure part of the website, you will need to enter your login details and your password.
We will contact you every 6 months or so, to ask you to answer questions about your lifestyle, health and wellbeing. We will also offer you other opportunities to get involved (for example, taking part in new studies or taking part in discussions about what questions we should be studying).
How do I log in?
Once you have joined, you can log in to the participant area of the website at any time using your username (your email address) and your password.
