HealthWise Wales Progress Review
All the current HealthWise Wales participants, of which there are almost 600, have been invited to attend to hear how the project has been getting on during the pilot phase.
The event will include:
- An address from the Public Delivery Chair, Andrew Rix, about the importance of public involvement in research.
- An update from Shantini Paranjothy, the Scientific Lead for HealthWise Wales.
- A summary of our Focus Group feedback, and how we acted on this.
- A look at how HealthWise Wales plans to use Volunteers and Champions.
The event, being held at Cardiff City Stadium, will end with a Networking session where attendees can browse interactive information stands to find out more about health and social care in Wales.
This Progress Review will be followed by the Involving People Annual Network Meeting, being organised by Health and Care Research Wales. This lively annual event provides a great opportunity for Involving People Network Members, researchers and others with an interest in public involvement to meet and discuss involvement and engagement in research.
